It’s been several years already and who would have thought that a great many people are still using IE6? Apparently, IE6 still has lots of fans.
These two snapshots were taken from our properties, with majority of the visitors coming from the U.S. and Philippines.

IE7 dominates the Internet Explorer charts. However, websites should still be developed to be backward compatible with IE6. It’s safe to say that we can now forget about IE5.5.

This report comes from Kumanta.com, with most of the visitors from North America and Southeast Asia.
Popular Web Browsers

- IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, Opera Mini, Mozilla
IE still rules and Firefox is gaining market share and is neck to neck with IE. The others are far behind.
Popular Operating Systems

Windows is by far the preferred Operating System out there with 95.95% of visitors using it.
Popular Screen Resolutions

A large majority (59.64%) of the site’s users are still using 1024×768 screen resolution. It would be safe to design for this screen size. The 5.23% of 800×600 users are the only ones we’re gonna be slightly alienating.
Macromedia Flash Support

Almost everybody’s got Flash now. Bling bling!
